Going the extra mile

Lavenham Press are specialists in the production of high quality books, and we were delighted to be asked to produce a fourth book for an exclusive independent publisher in the automotive sector. The books needed to be produced to the highest quality to meet the needs and expectations of the eager recipients.

An exclusive book launch at a worldwide show in Paris was planned.

Due to the tight schedule our Sales Director Bill Byford had to drive the books down to the west country to the distributer so that they could pack their huge lorry and drive to Paris very early the next day. Unfortunately Bill encountered some remarkably snowy, blizzard like conditions and deep snow which resulted in his car getting stuck and having to carry the books the final 300 meters due to the depth of snow coming over his boots!

The customer was delighted and the books were very well received.

This is just one example of Lavenham Press going that extra mile for our clients!! (no pun intended..)
